Microcode-Level Emulation
The TI-57.
Reborn.
MY57 is a microcode-level emulator of the Texas Instruments TI-57 programmable calculator. Not a simulation — a true microcode-level emulation of the original TMC1501 processor.
50 program steps, 8 memory registers, Learn-mode programming with branches and subroutines — faithfully reproduced on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Why Microcode Matters
Most emulators approximate calculator behavior at a high level. MY57 operates at the deepest level possible — executing the actual microcode instructions of the original hardware.
Cycle-Accurate
Emulates the original TMC1501 4-bit processor at the microcode level. Every calculation, every display quirk, produces exactly the same result as the original hardware.
Full Programmability
50 steps of Learn-mode program memory and 8 addressable data registers, with GTO, subroutines (SBR), and conditional loops (Dsz) — exactly as on the original keyboard.
Native Experience
Built natively for Apple platforms with SwiftUI, with a saved-program library and iCloud sync. Runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac with a responsive interface designed for each form factor.
Everywhere You Need It
Available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

About the TI-57
The Texas Instruments TI-57, launched in 1977 alongside the card-programmable TI-58 and TI-59, was the accessible member of the family — no magnetic card reader, but the same Learn-mode keystroke programming in a lighter, more affordable package. It shipped with the "Making Tracks Into Programming" workbook and introduced a generation of students and engineers to programmable calculators.
MY57 preserves this legacy through microcode-level emulation — not by approximating what the TI-57 did, but by running the same microcode that powered the original TMC1501 processor. The result is an emulator that is indistinguishable from the real hardware.
